Promoting and stimulating knowledge and interest in the study of genealogy

The Chapter's 14-page newsletter is published bi-monthly, six times a year. Information relating to meeting dates and subject, member activities, queries, and material related to genealogy and history for Portage County and sometimes neighboring counties is included in each newsletter. Genealogy Queries are free to members (there is a $1.00 charge for non members). Please limit queries to four surnames. The surname research list is in the March-April issue. The newsletter goes to libraries and other genealogy chapters around the country, including the Family History center in Utah. It is indexed in PERSI, Periodical Source Index, by Allen County Public Library's Genealogy Center in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
